Please contact your Representative re: Self-Directed IRAs Being Destroyed
The US House of Representatives' Ways and Means Committee has suggested changes to the Self-Directed IRA process that would functionally eliminate them. The 80% reduction in access to capital and limitations on types of investments favors Wall Street over Main Street, hampering entrepreneurs from accessing local capital.
These regulations are suggested at this time and are not written in stone, yet. Our voices can help protect one of the key areas of self-determination of our own retirement funds! Please choose a message to send now!

The Biden Administration has asked Congress to extend the Eviction Moratorium which is set to expire on July 31st. The House is preparing to move on legislation, potentially through the end of the year. With over $46.5B in Rental Assistance already granted to states and municipalities it would be better for a federal effort to encourage the grantees to simplify their programs and get the funds to the renters in need! Please reach out to your Representative and Senator encouraging them to let the states and municipalities address this issue.
Please reach out immediately HERE to let your Representative and Senators know that the Eviction Moratorium should not be extended. The White House has called on Congress to extend it through the end of the year, and we must speak up NOW! The Eviction Moratorium is set to expire and it should.

3/28/2021 *** Legislative Alert*** House Bills 1193 and 1195 are making traction through their committees. Both have passed favorably through their 1st committee hearing and are scheduled for their 2nd committee hearing on Tuesday 3/30. 1193 would allow tenants who are in an current eviction to have their name removed from the docket/lawsuit which would make it nearly impossible for a new landlord to know that their applicant is currently being evicted by someone else. 1195 would exempt evicted tenant's names from public records entirely and thus future landlords would find it nearly impossible to know the eviction history of an applicant. The Senate bills have not made any traction yet but there is a still over a month left in the legislative session. Contact your Tallahassee Congress member now. I will post links below. #cfrilegislative
